Hrithik Roshan is one of the most popular and versatile actors in Indian cinema, known for his exceptional dancing skills, charismatic personality, and powerful performances. Born on January 10, 1974, in Mumbai, India, he comes from a prominent film family and is the son of filmmaker Rakesh Roshan. After working as a child artist and assistant director, he made his leading debut with Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai (2000), which became a massive success and established him as a Bollywood superstar.
Hrithik is the epitome of perfection with his long haircut, towering stature, and striking hazel-green eyes. A prolific Indian actor in numerous Bollywood films, he is globally renowned for his versatile roles, unmatchable dancing skills and attractive looks. After having appeared in films as a child actor in the 1980s, Roshan made his film debut in a leading role in Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (2000) for which he earned Filmfare Awards for Best Actor and Best Male Debut. It was not just a new actor on the block, but a star was born. He became a romantic hero, an action hero and revolutionized the Hindi film industry in significant ways. Never before had any debutant become an overnight sensation of this kind. • On January 14, 2000, during the premiere of his debut film Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, Hrithik Roshan experienced massive fan hysteria. After the film ended, thousands of fans surrounded him, and police had to escort him out safely. This moment marked the beginning of "Hrithikmania" across India.
• At the age of 21, Hrithik Roshan was diagnosed with scoliosis and was told that he might never be able to dance or perform the physical roles expected of a Bollywood hero.
• He also struggled with a stammering problem but overcame it through regular speech therapy, determination, and hard work before entering the film industry.
• He researched extensively about scoliosis, trained hard, and developed his fitness and stamina, eventually becoming known as one of the fittest actors in Bollywood.
• Hrithik uses a unique method for preparing for his roles — he wears a different cologne for each character and avoids using it again after completing the film, helping him reconnect with the memories and emotions of that character.
